Graduation Day!

So Friday was my big day to commemorate my completion and graduation from Richfield High School. It was an amazing day, and even though everything didn’t go exactly as I imagined, it was still a party. First thing in the morning at 9:30, I went to an assembly at Pahvant with Savanna. It wasn’t too exciting seeing as how we missed most of it, but afterwards I went home and finished packing for the CHT. I even went over to Nan’s to get some vinyl done for my friends graduation presents. Just as I was getting ready to head over to graduation, Trent called from Hawaii to tell me how sad he was he couldn’t be here for the graduation, but he helped me get stoked for the CHT and gave me some advice about my college classes. Hopefully I’ll be able to get out of Biology now that he’s given me the heads up. We’ll see how that goes.

The actual graduation ceremony was pretty long, but for some strange reason when I went to go sit down, there was an index card and a pencil on my chair. I took it as fate, and once the naming of the graduates started, I drew one of my magnificent teacher portraits of Mr. Pruitt. Since I didn’t have pockets ,I stuck it up my cast for safe keeping along with my keys, and walked across the stage with it. It was a good time, and I’ll scan it in and post it as soon as I get home.

After graduation I got loads of pictures of me with friends, and it was awesome. I think I’m going to miss my little underclassmen the most. Heres some of my favorites:

Once we finished up with pictures, we went to Chelsea’s grandmas house for food and had a good time. It was delicious! When I got home, around 6:30, my mom informed me that the rest of my fam was going to go to the new Indiana Jones movie at 7, and I totally wanted to go. It was strange, but awesome, and Brandon rubbed my back and head most of the time, so it was really nice.

When we got home I was going to go chill with my friends, but Brandon informed me he brought RockBand and since I had the use of my thumb, I knew I had to play it, seeing as how it would probably be the last time I get to play with him for a long time. We created a new band (G-WOOOOOOD DININIOWOWOwow) and had a good time. I didn’t feel too bad about it because I had already made plans with my friends to go on a Denny’s run at midnight. Turns out my friends are lame and decided to go to bed early, so that plan fell through. I ended up playing RockBand until 1:30 and when my wrist was killing me, and then stayed up until about 2. That means 3 hours of sleep since I had to be at the Youth Center at 5:30 this morning to leave on CHT. Details on that in my next post!
